Your Vote Decider

The Vote Decider project was a University project aimed at allowing users to decide how they should vote in the 2017 General Election based on how they looked. The system was built using processing and compared an image of the users face to the faces of a number of different politicians from the 7 main parties running in the upcoming election. Amongst the images I also used a number of former politicians such as Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair to add a sense of nostalgia for older users and also ensure that even people who don't keep up with politics may recognise some of the faces and it may help to encourage them to vote. The project was used in our second year show and received a lot of positive feedback from those who used it.
