In 2023, I rebuilt the website for the Doryoku Ryu Karate Club. The brief was to create a modern, engaging platform that clearly communicates the club's values and opportunities to prospective students, while actively driving recruitment across their the South West. I achieved this by designing and developing a fully responsive WordPress website.
Alongside the technical build, I collaborated closely on the content strategy, optimising the text to ensure maximum search visibility for every location where the club operates. I am pleased to say that this strategic combination of clean development and targeted local SEO has been a major success, propelling the website to the top of Google search rankings for martial arts classes across the South West.
